Jan 10th: Zoom class for Mercer Master Gardeners, 11 am

20 Garden Design Ideas & Tips for Home Gardeners

Garden designer and coach Julie Witmer has been helping gardeners for nearly two decades make their gardens more cohesive and exciting. No matter where you grow, you can use these classic design ideas to give your garden more shape and interest. You will also hear ten tips for ways to get started today!

Jan 27th: Zoom class for Phipps Conservatory’s Landscape and Garden Design / Ecological Gardening Certificate, 6:30-8 pm

Building a Border Backwards: the benefits of reverse seasonal order

Learn how to create a perennial mixed border that will give you year-round beauty while also creating a positive ecological impact every month of the year. The “border backwards” technique will explain the benefits of thinking in reverse seasonal order to include a variety of plants into a low-maintenance, long lasting border display.

June 6th: Havenwood Open Garden + plant sales, 10 am—4pm

To benefit The Garden Conservancy & Grove City Community Library

Enjoy a restful walk around our one-acre private garden right in the borough. Self-guided tours through more than a dozen garden rooms with plentiful places to sit as well. Bubbles, a garden fairy hunt, and coloring for the kids.
